Tyki sighed, sagging slightly in Zechs' grasp. "We knew of the danger beforehand, yet I still was not able to stop Allen from striking me with that blade," he said quietly, and firmly. "I used everything I learned. I'm certain that I did better than I would have, but you predicted more than you realize - the tease was not a good enough shield. It was fate."

He drew back a little, to look at Zechs' face, very solemnly. "There was only one thing that I wanted and hoped for while I was there," he said seriously.
