Kaito laughed, oddly enough. He threw back his head and allowed himself to laugh. It was a bitter laugh, too, not nearly the same as those childish chuckles he allowed loose after a prank. He stopped for a moment and smirked at Hakuba-- it was a Kid smirk, nothing Kaito about it. "Don't be an idiot. Geez, and I thought you were smart."
He shook his head and laughed to himself a bit more, before his snickers turned into sighs. "Maybe," he said, raising his hands and putting them behind his head, "That's why she doesn't have to wait on me. Why she shouldn't wait on me. You know."
