Kaito reached into his pocket and pulled out one of the juggling balls. "Catch," he said, before tossing it to Hakuba. "You can have it. I don't need it." He grinned, a devious glint present in his expression. "This has been fun, Haku-baka, but I've got to run. Gotta catch a worldhopper after all." He made a movement, as if he was heading towards the door, but then stopped and turned to face Hakuba once more. "Hypothetically speaking, if I were Kid, which I'm not, then I'd quote this," he paused as he dug through his memory, trying to remember the words Maurice Leblanc had written down so long ago, "We may talk, shake hands, nod to each other, but the fence remains.
