[RL with Azula- and perhaps Akako/Ty lee too]

[In the cell]

It had been 4 days, 17 hours, 37 minutes and 23 seconds since he had been invited to the Fire Nation. The distance between walls were less than 5.5 meters, and there were 157 bricks on the wall, 12 of them broken. Saguru Hakuba counted them. Not just because he was really bored, but because he liked to count things to keep his mind busy.

He had tried to practice some fencing too, it was not the same without a real opponent, or a real sword- but he could practice the steps, and it kept him from freezing.

They called that cells Coolers. It was an adequate name.

The coldness of the cell permeated the blond to the bone, while he wait, listening, hoping against hope that Akako wasn't going to try anything drastic. Hakuba knew that to survive, he had to adapt- to keep cool, learn to give and take pain as it comes. Sometimes he got scared, too. In fact, he was scared often, more for the other than himself, but he couldn''t show it - in a place like this, if you admit weakness, you're a dead man. It's as simple as that, as sure as a wounded fish is a meal for hungry sharks. Mercy doesn't exist. Second chances are about as rare.

So, here, in the coldness dark, he waited.

[On the palace]

Akako was not a happy witch. Between having her boyfriend kidnapped (no matter how many times the princess insisted it was an arrest, she'd never believe her) and being bested by the mousy girl (it had taken all night to heal the bruises!) she was in a horrid mood. All she wanted to do was rescue Hakuba, take him home with her, and go to sleep... preferably with him lying next to her, but eh. Minor details!

Akako approached the prison again, a bit more weary this time, and kept her eyes open for Ty Lee. She wouldn't be taken off guard and beaten up like that again.

The bruises really did hurt.

"Who knows what disasters will be doing Kid while I'm here." That wasn't a complete lie, after all Hakuba programmed Doyle to activate the Reichenberg Security System if he was gone for more than 24 hours. That means that the Thief was going to have free access to all his information. "I can't lost more time. And I'm going to need a computer."

Oh sorry. I mean that once he's on his world he will post on DDD saying that he's back and safe. ^^' on that post, he will not say that he didn't gave you all teh information. But if Azula and hakuba talk again, maybe he will tell her that he did that.

"I can do that," she said, thinking. "But you won't be able to contact anyone or post to the community, so don't get any ideas."

OOC: Would you mind if he didn't tell her, though? Because she'd totally hunt him down again, and their conversations are too fun when she's not at his throat. XD

Hakuba frowned. he was already expecting that, and all that he really needed was to contact Doyle, but a discontent frown works wonders when people think that they tricked you. "...fine. As long as I get out of here..." he growled.

Pffff, I don't' mind ^_^ I love their conversations <3 badass character FTW

Azula nodded once, then left the cell. A few minutes later, she returned with his laptop.

"Bring up the records," she commanded.

OOC: Exactly! :D

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-03 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
"I hope that that thing have a good internet connection." Hakuba looked at the laptop. "It looks prehistoric, you really need a new one."

He looked back at her. "How can I be sure that you're going to release me once I gave you the information?"

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-03 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Azula smiled dangerously. "I suppose you'll just have to trust me. After all, you're not really in a position to bargain."

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-03 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
Hakuba's pride screamed in anger, but he knew better than pay attention to it now. Let's give the princess whatever please her, even if it's not going to be true,he thought.

"I suppose that a princess's word must be enough."

Hakuba sat on the floor again, with the laptop over his lap, and started to work. It took him just a few second to access to Doyle, his fingers moving too fast over the keyboard to catch at the eyesight what code of access he typed. Doyle had started the Reichenberg Security System, and his codification was changed, but he could still read it.

The window was now full of a mixture of 0 and 1, the whole machine code of the files. Hakuba could change it into a readable text for the princess, but for now he kept it that way on purpose. He was going to give her the information, sure, but that doesn’t mean that he had to gave Azula the whole information, or even the correct information. It just had to look real.

Once he was done with the changes, he typed the codes to turn the information into normal text, with some photos and even a few maps.

“Here it is, in all his glory.”

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-03 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Azula took the laptop, frowning slightly as she examined what was on the screen. Every once in a while she would let out a small "hm", but nothing more.

After about fifteen minutes, she closed the computer and handed it back to him. "That's perfectly fine." He hadn't had anything that was meant to be secret- all of the maps and images were common knowledge among the ordinary citizens of her world, as was the text that went along with them.

Smirking slightly, she stood up- moving towards the door to call a guard to escort Hakuba off of the prison grounds. "See now, wasn't that simple? Imagine how much trouble you could have caused had you simply complied the first time I asked." Perhaps now, he would realize that she didn't play around with such matters- she meant business.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-03 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
"Detectives and trouble are like you and Ty lee, princess Azula. Inseparable." Hakuba informed her, a corrosive tone on his voice.

So uhm now...what now? ^^' Akako and Hakuba need to meet at this point...Azulas'a guards are just going to let him out of prison? He can't worlhop by himself, maybe I can start a new treat on this post and Akako can reply on it. what do you think?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-03 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
Azula tsk'd lightly, but said nothing more to him. Opening the door, she called, "Guards! This prisoner is being set free. Escort him outside the prison gates." As an afterthought, she added, "And if you're given any trouble by a young, red-headed woman, feel free to use whatever force necessary to deal with her." She gave Hakuba a small smirk as two guards came in and took him by the arms. He wouldn't be allowed to walk freely until he was beyond the prison walls.

OOC: I guess Akako can meet him outside? Your idea sounds good.
