Thanks to god, the night was falling. That way it was more easy to jump roof to roof without people noticing him. At least having cat's qualities was useful for something, Hakuba was even getting used to the ears.

The tail was still..strange, and it was like it had a life on it's own. When he was interested in something it starts waving, no matter if he was aware of it. Like when he smelled the food that Baaya was cooking. Oh that was another annoying thing: the sense of smell. He could smell everything, specially persons. It drove him crazy, some scents caused reactions on him that others didn't.

Hakuba shook his head, trying to remember what he had looked like before the whole fiasco with Aoko had started. He realized that he never really looked too much at himself before. Yeah, he saw the pale skin, the blonde hair, blue eyes, etc. but never had he really studied himself before. Now his eyes seemed bluer, brighter, and his pupils were slitted. He had to be at least two times faster than before. That' was good, he reached Akako's mansion in a few minutes. Hakuba couldn't use the door as that, so he climbed to the second floor to see if could he find any open window .

Akako was on her feet within seconds, pulling Hakuba off the couch and practically dragging him through the house, up the stairs and to her room. She stopped at the door frame, spun around, and practically threw herself at the detective, kissing him furiously, running one hand through his hair while the other fumbled with the hem of his shirt.

It was... rather obvious that she had been wanting this for a while now.

"Close the door," she ordered hotly as she pulled him into her room.

"Yes mistress." The good thing of having a tail was that he didn't even needed to use his hand to do it.

Another purr and both where on each others arms again, touching kissing...Akako's smell was all arround. That’s what he wanted. To let go of all the responsibilities, all the chains that are piled on him, and be free with her. To let the fire that he keep banked and smoldering blaze and engulf me.

"Akako.." His voice is strangled, warning her that we were about to walk off the deep end. He pressed against her and kissed her hungrily.

Akako was fully aware of where they were going... and considering how far they had come already, she wasn't about to back off.

The back of her legs hit the bed and she fell down on top of it, dragging Hakuba with her. She let his hands explore with much more freedom than normal, while hers most definitely were not standing still.

She didn't mind walking off the deep end... as long as Hakuba was right there with her.

The next morning, Akako awoke to something occupying the space next to her. It took her a few seconds to regain her bearings, but when she did, she smiled contently at the figure next to her.

Flashbacks from the night before played through her mind. Hakuba... he was still there, even after all that. Tucked under the covers and completely undressed, but still there. That was a good sign. His back was to her (did she make those red marks?) and, most notably, his cat attributes were gone.

... what an interesting way to reverse the spell. She wondered how long it would take him to wake up as well.

Slowly, Hakuba became aware of a shadow leaning over him, even with his eyes closed; he sensed it. He was not alarmed, but rather felt a bit silly for not expecting it. Giving in, he opened her eyes and looked up towards the figure responsible for the shadow.

“Good morning, my love.” Hakuba said, smiling quietly, feeling the blush inch its way across his cheeks. “How long have you been awake?”

He shifted a bit and pulled the sheet closer so everything important was covered. It wasn’t really necessary to hide, but more force of habit.

If Akako was the blushing type, her face would have been a deep red at the moment. Instead, she merely smiled, leaned her elbow against the mattress and her head in her hand, and lifted one finger to trace light patterns up and town Hakuba's bare chest. "A few minutes," she purred happily, "I was just watching you sleep."

He used his elbows as leverage to pull himself up and move even more closed to her. Hakuba moved a hand to her mouth, his fingers lightly trace the soft lips almost reverently, almost as if he had a time limit and the clock was ticking. Almost as if he was scared that she would vanish.

"You're ok?"

Akako blinked. "Of course," she responded with another smile. She took his hand gently in her own and linked her fingers with his. A few moments of silence went by as her eyes scanned his face, his neck, his torso, and all the way down to where skin ended and sheets began. She didn't have to see what was under the blanket to know what the situation was like down there-- after all, she had gotten to know that particular area of the detective quite well the night before.

A content sigh escaped Akako's mouth and she brought Hakuba's hand up to her cheek. "I love you, Saguru."

"I love you too, Akako Koizumi." He noticed her look.

“Soooooo…what’s the plan for today?” He waggled his eyebrows suggestively, indicating his own thoughts quite clearly.

"School," the witch replied as she sat up, her deep red hair spilling over her pale shoulders. She pulled the bed sheets up to cover her upper half and glanced at the clock. Noting what time it is, she then turned back to Saguru, leaned down and kissed him long and hard. When she pulled away, she was smiling again-- that devious, Akako smile that meant she was up to something. "But we have time."

Hakuba grinned like a cheshire cat. "You know, I just love time." He said in a voice that was part-sigh and part-laughter,, and slid his arms around her waist in a loose hug, keeping his head firmly pressed to her stomach.

"Excellent," came Akako's reply, and she didn't wait for any other confirmation before she kissed him again and reached under the covers.

Their relationship was going to be quite interesting from this point forward.
