When a box appeared magically in his desk, Hakuba wasn't that much surprised. He was used to Akako's magic, and after all the witch already told him that she was going to give him a new pet. He come closer to the box and opened it, curious.

Hakuba gazed down at the small cat. It looked back through bright blue eyes. Angry blue eyes.

"Uhm..What name should you have?"

Rufus looked back up at him, tail already moving in predatory. He leaped out of the box and bolted towards the bedroom, beginning to intact his revenge.

The boy looked down to the feline, watching it, smiling at the little critter.

Rufus dug his new found claws into the table, instinct told him that he had to make himself as big as possible. He hissed at Hakuba, hair standing on air.

Hakuba didn't even blink, he saw the kitten's reaction as a logical thing to do if the poor cat was be scared of him. The tease, though, saw it as a menace for his new master and moved fast to bit the kitten's tail to distract him.

Rufus hissed at the teased to, batting the butterfly. He instantly recognized it as Tyki's, which lead Rufus to wonder whether Tyki was there.

Rufus snarled when it bit his tail and he launched himself into Hakuba.

A lot of heist with Kid helped Hakuba to learn how to dodge or sprint when it was necessary. It was as useful to avoid the card projectiles as to avoid an angry kitten.

"Ey, play nice. You too, Clarise.No bitting." Hakuba said to the butterfly, who flew to his shoulder again.

Rufus had already made his way around Hakuba's house. He looked at everything - there may be an upside to this all. He settled for going to try and tell Hakuba who he is. So, at first chance, he attacked his wardrobe, taking out all the shirts that weren't black or white.

The detective managed to find the cat, but a bit too late. He looked at the mess and then frowned at the kitten.

"I'm calling you Moriarty."

That's really original, Hakuba. Rufus thought as he tried to find another way to get Hakuba to notice that he was actually the president that he was more acquainted with. Next stop, laptop to try and type it out.

Hakuba looked at his destroyed wardrobe. Well, he had a good excuse to go to shopping with Akako or Alize now. He bend over to the cat's level and took a belt who was near him.

"I brought that on Milan, you know."
