I had never wished to be too busy for my friends, Saguru. And your friendship is worth more than whatever miscellaneous errands I happen to run from time to time - there was no great crisis keeping me. I am glad to know Miss Akako and your friend held a party for you.

It is not enough, yet I am glad you appreciate my meager blessings. Perhaps we should meet in the future? If nothing else, you are owed a gift for all of your kindness to me this past year.
