You see, she's ...I met her on England when I was studying. Her name is Irene. She’s smart, intelligent, the only one who had the wit to outdo me and I admired her for it. Also beautiful and… imperfect.

I loved her. Or that’s what I thought. I have problems to understand people emotions when it comes to that.

Softer passions were admirable things for the observer--excellent for drawing the veil from men's motives and actions. But for the trained reasoner to admit such intrusions into my own delicate and finely adjusted temperament was to introduce a distracting factor which might throw a doubt upon all my mental results.

So I never..I couldn't love her the way she deserved, so I let her go. Now, she’s with someone else.

(OOC. since Hakuba's character is inspired in Shelrlock holmes, his relationships with people and especially oposite sex are quite complicated ^^ he's never that open about his feeling, you must feel honored XD))

You make things way too complicated. If you love her you just have to be loyal to her and do anything you possibly can for her! And be willing to die for her!

Irene was already with someone when I met her in a fencing competition. I didn’t wanted to make her suffer so I never get on the middle of them. Then they get married.

I wasn't really thinking about it. I guess you look fine.

(Maraich is a mixture of shallow and deep, I think. He usually ends up picking guys that aren't very good for him.
If he hadn't said he liked a girl, Maraich would have probably assumed he was gay. Lots of people are gay on Maraich's planet ^o^)
