[He nods, turning his head to press a soft kiss to Reno's cheek. This is so...strangely companionable and nice] I think I'll give it to him after the party.

[He's not really thinking about it, but something in the back of his mind is aware of the warmth of the current situation and in a way that's not entirely sexual]

[Props his feet up on the table and slumps a bit looking satisfactorily sleepy] Heh, he might not be as trigger happy then.

[Chuckles softly, content to keep Reno from slipping off his lap if the other man wants to sleep. He can see the monitors from here, after all]

Hopefully he'll be in a better mood, yes.

Probably better than the mood my presents left him in hah [closes his eyes and rests his hands on Tseng's thighs] I hope so anyway...he threatened to give me a paper cut.

[Soft chuckle] Possibly an injury worse than the one you already have.

[Nuzzle, his eyes slipping closed for a moment before he returns his attention to the monitors and goes on in a more businesslike tone] Do you need to go back to the hospital after this?

If it's Rufus he'd dissect me...that would hurt like hell too [chuckles too]

Hmm...hn? [His own eyes shudder open at Tseng's question]Yeah, I guess, the hover nurse is probably turnin' the place upside down by now. 'm just so damn tired of doin' nothin' but laying on my stomach all day while she inspects a little cut on my back...feel like a bug under a microscope yanno?

[Tseng chuckles softly, then leans back casually, not looking at Reno] Yeah, I'm sure you're right. Well, another time, then.

[Looks up curiously] Eh? Another time?

[A casual shrug. Maybe too casual] I wondered if you wanted to stay with me tonight.

[Still looking up and he's a little surprised, just a little] Yeah. I wanna stay the night.

[He smiles, but it's cautious] But will you be allowed, or is the devil nurse going to haul you back?

I dunno...maybe...[yawns]...or maybe not if I'm with you. I wanna though...like when we pushed the beds together at the Gold Saucer

[Tseng nods, pleased and trying not to examine too closely why.] Then you'll stay with me tonight, and the nurse can wait. My bed is big enough for us both, anyway.

[He noticed the yawn, though] How are you holding up?

Yeah...the gorilla can bitch at me later...one night away from the hospital bed ain't gonna kill me.

Little tired. You're a kinda hard-bodied...but comfortable enough to pass out on Tseng. [Grins] Of course, I'd be a lot more comfortable spoonin' you in your bed.

[Tseng glances at the cameras again] The party is breaking up... We can probably head home if you're tired.

Hn...yeah if you're ready [sits up and scans the cameras as well] We taking Rufus back too? Or is he going with Dark?

I'm sure he's able to make his own way back. [Tseng is wry] And he's probably going to be going with Mousy.

[Pulls himself up onto his feet even though he is comfortable where he is] Well...guess that settles it...I'm pretty tired.

Me too. [Gets to his feet and stretches, takes one last look to make sure everything's all right, then switches off the security equipment]

[Impulsively, he wraps an arm around Reno's waist and tugs him into a somewhat harsh kiss]

[Growls:] Don't do that again.

[Is about to leave the room with his cane in hand when he's surprised by Tseng when pulled into his kiss]

[Grunts from the harshness, but otherwise bear-hugs Tseng around his neck]

[Draws back after dropping a few of his own kisses on Tseng's nose]Do...what?

Get shot.

[Gives him a stern look, as if he'd done it on purpose, then releases him more gently than before so he doesn't lose his balance]

Uhh...but I'm a Turk...people shoot at me all the time...[scratches the back of his neck and looks a little confused]...I mean I'll try not to get shot...you know, I'm not that big a sadist.

[Tseng rolls his eyes slightly and hands Reno his cane] Just try not to, all right?

Well that time I'd asked Lazard out...and I think he was probably their target but [shrugs] I guess since I asked him out I felt kinda responsible for what happened to him.

[Takes Reno's arm to help him, concerned about his injury]

What do you mean? Was he hurt, too? [He hadn't seemed hurt, and Tseng is surprised to hear this]
