RL-dealing with the kids

Closing the door, Hakuba leaned against the wall and waited  for a moment. He could hear Kaito-kun and Akako-chan  running around the house playing another game. At least Aoko wasn’t with Watson, he nearly died when he saw the poor pet with a pink bow on her neck.

Since no one was there to see, he allowed a worried expression to creep onto his face.  He had hoped that Akako wasn’t very angry at him for leaving her alone with the kids while he went to find Maxwell. Hakuba brought her flowers, but he doubted that if it was going to do any good. Hakuba looked at the flowers on his left hand, he didn’t know his favorite flowers, so he bought her azaleas. Next, he looked at the black cat on his right hand.

“Welcome home.”


(OOC: In the language of flowers, Azaleas mean love, romance, first love, fragile passion, temperance, and it is also the Chinese symbol of womanhood :3)

Just then, Kaito came screeching around the corner giggling his head off as Aoko chased after him. He skidded to a stop when he caught sight of Hakuba and Maxwell the cat. "Ah! A kitty!" he said, "Aoko-chan likes cats!" He turned to Aoko and grinned. "Can we play with the cat, Hakuba-niichan?"

"Meow." This was pretty good Maxwell thought as Hakuba scratched behind his ears. However, just because he was changed into a cat did't mean he wasn't still and foremost a secert agent. Maxwell, rubbed himself against Akako legs as if he understood. In fact, he could sense her anger. Looking up at Hakuba, Maxwell 'meowed' again.

However, the sudden screeched had caught him off guard and he jumped into the air and highly pitchly meowed and hide between Hakuba before emerging to peek at a child.

Maxwell meowed happily, why not after all?

"You should ask the Kitten if he wants to play with you two." Hakuan informed. "His name is Maxwell."

"I think he does" Aoko cried happily and took the kitten carefully.She scratched the white kitten under it’s chin. "Kaite let's go to the kitchen, I'm sure he's hungry."

Kaito nodded at Aoko. "Okay! I bet we can find some cat food in there or something!" He lowered his voice to a whisper so Akako and Hakuba couldn't hear, "And then we'll take him outside and see if I can make him disappear, like my dad does in all of his magic tricks!"

"Hakuba-niichan's hat is in his room." Aoko murmured back. "We can use it for the trick." Aoko Turned to Hakuba, hugged him, and then took kaito's arm and draggged him away to the kitchen.

Maxwell started purring with all the attention he was getting.

His ears twitched, Cat food? Do I look like a?... Well, yes I do but cat food?!

The black eyed them back suspiciously much he could. Listen kids just because I'm a cat doesn't mean I can understand you prefectly... I mean

"Meow" Looking confused. He wasn't though going to have himself disappear least not like this.

In the kitchen, Kaito began to open each cabinet as he searched for the cat food (assuming, of course, that Hakuba actually had cat food lying around somewhere).

"Do you think cats eat things other than cat food?" he asked in puzzlement, "I can't find any!"

Giving up his search, he walked over to Maxwell and patted the cat's head. "Do you wanna be a part of a magic show?"

"I bet that kitten like milk too." Aoko said, opening the fridge. She saw the milk but she couldn't reach it. Aoko frowned and close the door of the fridge.

"I'm going to find Saguru niichan's hat for the trick." She said as she ran away.

Maxwell eyed Kaito as he was patted. Well, magic got him like this maybe assuming the boy really had magic abilities as well
maybe could get him out of this mess.

Meowing, quietly, Maxwell waited for the girl to come back with the hat.

Aoko managed to find the hat and got back to the kitchen in a few minutes. She left the hat on the floor and took the kitten carefully.

"What we do now, Kaito?"

Kaito picked up Maxwell and placed him in the hat. Truthfully, he had never done this trick before, so... he really wasn't sure how to make the cat disappear.

"Er... now we need a sheet!" he glanced at Aoko. "Aoko-chan, can you get a sheet?"

Aoko looked at him and then at the cat. She looked at Kaito again and blinked.

"Why a sheet?Is he going to sleep?"

"My dad uses a sheet when he makes things disappear!" Kaito answered her, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"But we don't have a sheet here." She looked around and saw Akako's jacked on one of the kitchen's chairs. "We ca use that!"

Aoko took the jacket and show it to Kaito. "What now?"
