[RL with Akako-Time for some love confessions]
Human were so strange, Watson thought, they make a big deal of everything, especially emotions. Animals were easier. You meet your partner, you stay with him, and you breed with him. Humans, though, were odd and keep going on circles. Literally sometimes.
His master was walking from one side of the living room to the other, visibly nervous and wanting for something. Watson moved her head and looked at him upside down. That was unusual, he was never that nervous, or producing that much pheromones. His master stopped at his track when the bell rang, and looked at the door like with a glint on his eye, like they were heaven's gates.
"Wish me luck." he murmured to Watson a few seconds before than went to the door to opening. From his perch on the top of the stair, she saw the red head girl his master was always after.
Maybe human weren't so odd after all.

She wasn't even trying to make sense of her emotions anymore. She was upset... and overjoyed... and oh so confused, all at the same time. He had told her he loved her. He wasn't the first one to tell her this. But he was the first one who mattered.
Her landing was rough (she nearly tripped over herself as she climbed off her broom) but she was in a hurry and didn't care at the moment. And when he flung open the door, she didn't waste and time lunging forward, grabbing the collar of his shirt, and pulling him down in a kiss.

Witch.
He was so relieved, his knees nearly buckled. They stood so close now, although he couldn't remember having taken a step and hold her, but his arm where around her slender figure. They kissed more passionately as she pressed herself up against him. A fiery rush of adrenaline soared through the detective that he had never felt before. As they kissed Saguru knew he would never kiss another woman. Akako was it for him.

Akako savored one last (quite deep and quite passionate) kiss, before she moved her hands to the detective's chest and pulled away. It felt good to have his arms around her, holding her tightly and pressing her against him.
The witch smiled wrly, before she leaned forward and whispered (quite seductively) into his ear. "I love you too, Saguru."

Wiping her mind clean, he turned to face Akako, willing his face not to blush. He could feel the color start to rise up his neck as she replied.
"I love you too, Akako Koizumi."
He hugged her one more time before caress her back and motioned to the house. "You're going to get cold."

The witch took Hakuba's hand and pulled him into the house, closing the door behind her. She crossed her arms over her chest and frowned. "You still have some explaining to do," she said.

"I know, and I will." He gestured to the living room. Watson was now perched on the top of a chair, watching them curiously. "What if you take a seat and I will prepare some tea? Or do you want something else?"

"You want to know the truth? What’s been going on inside my head? Well here it is. I’ll bare my soul to you, drop all my walls and defenses I’ve set up over the years. I’ll tell you here what I’ve been to afraid to say out loud, at least to your face. I love you. I don’t know quite when it happened, but it did. I don’t think it was when I first met you, though I did find you physically attractive then. It could have been after I got to know you. Your personality did draw me to you more and more as I got to know you better. But you loved someone else. I have fallen in love with you. I allowed myself to have feelings for you and you dug yourself into my heart. I opened myself up and you snuck inside. I can’t stop the way I feel about you. I’ve tried." Hakuba sighed and told her about his conversations with Kuroba and Tyki, but he didn't tell her about Tyki's dark side. There some secrets that that needed to be respected.
"I never thought you would respond the way you did. I never thought you would go for it. I could be egotistical and think who wouldn’t take up an offer like that, but I’m not egotistical. I didn’t thought you liked me like that. I guess I was wrong."
Hakuba felt his face go warm and his heart beat faster. Now time for the Apocalypse.

Not that she was complaining.
The witch was silent for a few moments after he stopped talking. There was something she had to know first... just to make sure it was really him and not one of her spells. For being so popular with the male population, she really didn't know the first thing about being honestly and truly loved.
"I have to ask you something, Saguru," she said as she fiddled with her empty teacup. "This isn't one of my spells at work, is it?" It was a blunt question, and she wasn't sure if he could answer honestly. But she had to try.

Being the analytical man he was, he studied every moment , every conversation they share every second they been together and conclude that he wasn't acting like the other boys around her. Like a fool in love, yes, but at the same time different.
He took Akako's hand and put it over his chest, she could felt the pounding of his heart through the clothes.
"I don't think so, Akako."

He mover his hand to her her shoulders, softly caressing the long hair, his body leaning towards her. She tasted like the tea, and smelled of powder and soft perfume.
Watson made a sound, but they were too busy to pay attention to the hawk at the moment. Hakuba noticed, thought, that it was a content sound, like she was encouraging them.
