[RL with Krad]

Not much people know about the flat, not even his family or Akako. Hakuba buought it one day he felt that he needed some place to hide, someplace to go that people didn't know; the laboratory was not enough. It wasn't small but not very impressive either, it had a kitchen, a bathroom, a bed that he never used..it will do the trick.

The book that filled the shelves make it look like he was really living there, even if it was not the truth. Krad didn't know where he lives and he rather keep it that way. Hakuba looked at his watch, it was nearly time]

"What he thinks about this separation? Relief, I imagine," Krad commented. "I haven't been able to speak with him yet since I remembered being free of the bond. I've wanted to take care of a few other pressing matters before hand."

"Maybe you should now that you have more time, if you feel that way..." The last part was muttered as he looked away for a moment too. "But it's up to you." He said, back in track.

....this similiarity Krad believes is there cannot end well.

"Do not fret about Satoshi-sama. He can handle himself. After all, I'm sure you can handle yourself," Krad said and looked inside the flat. "A living space says a lot about a person. You and Satoshi-sama have a very similar way of living."

Should I be worried?

"We do?" Hakuba looked around the flat too, he only had time to buy a few pieces of forniture. Krad was right, it looked a bit cold. "I'm still in the process of making this place a real home. I come from London less than a year ago to catch a phantom thief." At least part of the reply was true, Hakuba thought. "What kind things you would add to this place?"

Well, you do know what he wants to do to Satoshi, don't ya? =O

"Yes. This apartment reminds looks almost exactly like Satoshi-sama's. He does have a computer and TV for more research and I'm sure the books are not all the same," Krad commented and smirked a bit. "He even moved to his most recent apartment to chase that pesky thief as well."

He looked at Hakuba. "That is hard to say. I don't know you quite enough to be able to make the right suggestions."

No sorry , I don't know his canon. He wants to kill him? *clueless mun is clueless* ^^'

"The computer is on my room, and I have a TV on the kitchen that I watch while I cook. Listen more than watch, but..." Hakuba laughed softly at the irony in Krads words. "Traveling from London to Ekoda was an important change for me too."

Then he shrugged.

"If it was your own apartment, how would you decorate it? Everybody needs a place that can can call his own."

Well, with separate bodies, not anymore. He just wants to seduce/rape/make Satoshi his possession.

"It was not such a dramatic a move for Satoshi-sama. He was used to movement to go to the proper schools for his education," Krad commented. "Though he usually prefers silence."

Krad looked thoughtful at that. "I like...simple, but elegant designs. Things that are not busy, but still have a sort of serene and calm feeling to them."

"Silence often helps you to think..but something people like us have the tendency to think too much about everything." The boy was stirring his tea, his mind far away for a moment.

"I like balanced things too. I keep my things in order because there's already to much chaos in my life to not control the few things I can control." Hakuba keep to himself that that chaos that people like Akako, Kuroba,and others bring to his life wasn't always that bad.

"If you're not with him...where are you living?" He asked, concerned.

Ain't he though? And oh my.

"He rarely gets silence. He enjoys it," Krad commented. Usually because he made noise, but there was only so much silence he could take himself.

"I find them pleasing to the eye. It is the same for art. Art that has a defined picture, instead of the ones where they are merely splotches on the wall," Krad said.

"...at the present, a place where I feel at home," Krad commented. Namely where Black Wings was stored.

"I only really get it on the laboratory. Is quiet, I like to work there for that reason too." Hakuba didn't asked more about Krad's place. If the spirit wants to tell him, he will, if he doesn't , he will keep being mysterious and evasive. Hakuba couldn't blame him.

"Indeed...I'm sure that you would like Oscar Wilde's quote abotu art. He said that Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known. I couldn't agree more.”

"Because of our bond, silence was a hard thing for him to come across. Myself, I had too much," Krad commented, taking another sip of the tea.

Krad looked thoughtful for a moment and nodded. "Every piece of art, even a recreation, has a difference in them. Nothing can mimic the voice of the piece, no matter how good a copy another is."

"Uhm..there's something I want to ask you..about Dark." Hakuba looked down at his teacup and found it empty. He leave it on the table. "If he is a phantom thief, and you are like his opposite, what you had to do? chase him when he stole something?"

"Being a Phantom Thief was not his original purpose," Krad explained. "That was something he inherited from his own masters. I do chase him, one to stop his stealing as the art works belong to the Hikari as well as more personal reasons."

Hakuba looked surprised at that. He never really knew Darks purpose. He imagined that it was stealing things, make Rufus's life worth to living and mocking Kaito.

"Should I ask what are those personal reasons or it will be to impolite? it's mere curiosity, nothing more. If you don't want to talk about it I will not pry, I just want to know you better. you are a very interesting person to talk with, Krad."

"There are two. One is our bond. The second is he can become...threatening if I am not careful," Krad commented. Of course only Dark knew how and the other was not likely to reveal how unless he was in one of those heroic stints of his at the wrong time.

"He threatens you out of the blue?" The boy questioned, a frown on his features. he always thought that it was more the other way around, but after all, Krad could be lying. True or not, threatening each other will never end good.

"There is no need for threats. It's simply a truth we both know," Krad said, staring out at the sky. "And he is the one more likely to take the action to damn us both," he said, voice going soft. "He truly, truly hates me."

Hakuba studied Krad's profile calmly. "If it makes you feel better, not everybody hates you." He avoided Krad's eyes after that statement.

Krad looked honestly surprised, staring at Hakuba in almost shock. It took a few moments before he composed his expression. "I am aware. Though...not may will say it aloud," he said, the surprise still on his eyes though it wasn't so clear on his face anymore.

He hadn't heard anyone say anything like they liked him in a rather long time. He assumed his masters cared, but...he never truly heard it.

He had to admit that his owns words surprised him, mostly because he found them to be true. He do liked Krad, at least in a way. Talking with him was like walking into a minefield, but that what made him so interesting. he thought abotu Tyki again.

Hakuba always had a thing for sociopaths and not so respectable people after all.

"I'm not like many people." He said in the end.

"I did think as such before, but it seems you are more different than Satoshi-sama than I first thought as well," Krad commented, looking thoughtful. Satoshi-sama rejected him. That he knew, but even then, he never willingly admitted things. It was rare even in his own thoughts.

"In a good way, I hope." He said with a half smile, he really didn't know what to think anymore.

Krad was silent for several long moments before a small, almost wistful smile appeared on his face. "I like it."

A few seconds before, Hakuba returned the smiled. It didn't went as bad after all.
