[The camera turns on and we can the Hakuba's pet, Irene, waving at the camera. She wears an obi around her rounded tummy and there's a sparkler fireworks in his right paw. When she's sure that she got people's attention Irene starts to dance. ]

Irene? What are you doing? We need to go to the temple. [Hakuba walks into the room, he wears a blue royal blue Kimono, and looks at her with amusement.]

Chu! Chu chu chuu! [Hakuba blinks and then he notices the camera.]

Ah, I see. [The boy smiles, holding her up and looking at the camera.] Akemashite omedeto gozaimasu!

[ooc: Akemashite omedeto gozaimasu= Happy new year in japanese. :3]

There are many...out of place things here. I have watched this place for many moons but I have finally decided to speak.

[Always one~ He's scratching Irene's head.]

That explain why I wasn't familiar with you, miss. [A smile.] This place can be really interesting after all. My name is Saguru Hakluba. Can I ask for yours?

I hate that too. [He puts Irene in the floor and gives him a chocolate bar, the porvora hugs one of his legs before to grab it and chew on it happily.]

What world are you from? I?m from Earth.

Interesting animal. [She raises an eyebrow.]

I am from the Korcari Wilds.

She was a present, Irene is not an animal that can normally be found in my world.

I can't say i ever heard of them.

I lived alone with my mother there for many years. If she were not hiding from her deceased husband's family...we would have been living in Lothering. You see the Wilds is quite barren, as the name suggests, filled with barbarians, darkspawn, beasts, and of course...I suppose you never have heard of Flemeth, the Witch of the Wilds?

That's quite of a story, madam. [He looks serious.] No, I never heard of that witch before, but witches exist in my world too.

There are more witches here than just Flemeth, of course, but Flemeth...she's the worst of them all. Most female magic users keep themselves in the Mages Tower but not Flemeth. She was before the Tower was founded in Ferelden. [She shrugs.] Or so the legends say.

As the bards tell it, many centuries ago before Ferelden was governed under one king there was a beautiful young woman. Her hair was black as a moonless sky and her eyes were as mysterious as the seas. Her name was Flemeth and she was the wife of a bard. After a jealous lord made and broke a deal with the husband and wife so that he could marry Flemeth instead, Flemeth was furious. Not because she loved her former husband but because the lord had broke a deal. Eventually she made a dark pact with a demon from the Fade. She took vengeance on the lord and ran to the Wilds to brood.

The demon made her powerful and, so the legends say, she lured many Wilder men to her bed so she could have as many daughters as possible. Some of the legends tell of a falling out between her and these daughters; Flemeth, of course, grew jealous of their beauty and chased each one of them down and devoured their still beating hearts.

Just a legend, of course. To scare children. [Though, of course, Morrigan wouldn't put it past her mother to do such a thing.]

[Hakuba listens careful and tilts his head at the end.]

Legends often have part of truth. And that demon..what asked in return?

What all demons of the Fade desire: her body and soul so it could see the mortal world. Yet, Flemeth was far more clever than the demon and kept control of her body. [She shrugs.] Whether Flemeth actually lives still or not is unknown.

If she was real, she was really strong then.

You're trying to discover if she's alive?

Why should I seek an answer to a question I already know? [Her mood shifts. She looks agitated.]

[He noticed, but he's not mention it.] You know for sure? But you told me it was only a legend to scare kids.

As you said before, there is a shred of truth in the legends of Flemeth.

Alright then.

There's witches in this comm, but not all of them are that terrible.

I wouldn't expect them to be.
