[Locked to Kaito/Kid, Naoto, Conan, Aoko, Issei...to Haibara's friends in short.]

Haibara's b-day it's today and I organized a small private party for her at home. Nothing too fancy because she doesn't enjoy those kind of parties, but I'm sure that she would like to you see all.

No, kid-san, I posted this because I wanted the attention.

I'll show up, but... I'm not certain if my presence will be welcome or not.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2010-02-11 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Our..problem, doesn't have to ruin your relationship with her. I don't want that.

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-02-11 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't want that, either. You must understand, Ai-kun is... very protective of you. She doesn't take kindly to those who hurt you, and she can hold a grudge for a very long time.

But... a lot of time has passed. Perhaps she's cooled off by now. In any case, I'll do my best not to provoke her ire.

...I need to pick up a gift for her. Perhaps you might offer a suggestion or two?

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2010-02-12 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
I know that she is... I'm grateful for that. I'm sorry if she gave you a hard time. She still likes you and I'm sure that Ai would enjoy you being there.

maybe some sort of lab equpiment, a microscope or so.

Yes, in the garden.

I'll try my best to be there, however short my visit might be.

No one of course.

[You better :>]

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-02-12 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
No, don't apologize. Everyone has... differences of opinion from time to time. But having arguments can make a relationship stronger, as long as both parties can work through their differences.

Hm... I suppose that would be appropriate. I think I'll bring another copy from Lois McMaster Bujold's The Miles Vorkosigan Saga. Ai-kun seems to appreciate science fiction more than she does most mystery novels.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2010-02-12 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
You only fight if yo really care, isn't it?

I don't think she likes detectives much, to be honest.

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-02-12 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
Precisely. Even very close friends have arguments from time to time. I mean, just look at Kaito and Aoko-chan! They argue like a married couple!

I'm pretty sure she just despises Sherlock Holmes because you and Conan-kun are obsessed with him.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2010-02-12 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
They are a married couple.

Ey, I'm completly innocent. Totally.

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-02-12 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
They are, aren't they? Well, he still needs to get her a ring...

I think you could stand to broaden your horizons a bit. In fact, the mystery genre has crossed over with horror and even science fiction!

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2010-02-12 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
I think he gave her one.

When did that happened and why no one told me about before?

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-02-12 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
An engagement ring, yes. That's a promise to get married. You're truly married when the bride and groom exchange wedding bands.

You were too busy reading "The Hound of the Baskervilles" to notice, I suppose. You should read "The Mountains of Mourning" by Lois McMaster Bujold. It's a science fiction whodunnit!

[identity profile] edogawa-4869.livejournal.com 2010-02-12 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
...She never told me when her birthday was.

Was she trying to keep it a secret? Well, we can't allow that.
