[RL with Krad]

Not much people know about the flat, not even his family or Akako. Hakuba buought it one day he felt that he needed some place to hide, someplace to go that people didn't know; the laboratory was not enough. It wasn't small but not very impressive either, it had a kitchen, a bathroom, a bed that he never used..it will do the trick.

The book that filled the shelves make it look like he was really living there, even if it was not the truth. Krad didn't know where he lives and he rather keep it that way. Hakuba looked at his watch, it was nearly time]

It was quite odd, really, to go and MEET people. It was not something Krad was accustomed to doing. The fact was, until he had discovered this community and his own body, it was quite easy to name who he did meet.

Dark, whatever Niwa host he had, sometimes their 'sacred maiden' or family, his own host, his host's family, and depending at the time, the host's own sacred maiden. Perhaps to a human, it seemed a lot, but for one as old as he, it was few. Especially since a good portion of them were usually targets to be taken care of or to be used as bait. Though there was the chance it was bad luck on their part that they were near Dark and Krad was nearby.

So going to have tea with someone was a rather new idea. He'd gone to see Dark and somehow a fight didn't break out. He'd visit a young woman who only wanted the chance to go out, an impulsive idea from a feeling of sympathy. After all, the reason this idea was new was because he was almost never let out purposefully in all these years.

However, he couldn't say it didn't appeal to him. After all, he wanted his own body so he could live his own life. It was his greatest wish, so he'd enjoy the simple things. Especially since this Hakuba seemed to be a rather intelligent, right minded young man.

So with a flare of magic, he appeared at the address, taking a quick look around to be sure no one saw. He didn't need to get the boy unwanted attention. No one was around who needed their memory erased, so he let his wings dissipate and walked to ring the front door bell.

Krad was a punctual man, the boy thought with an smile. He liked that. Hakuba stood and for some reason remembered his first meeting with Tyki. Maybe things will go different with Krad as well, who knows? For now, there was no reason to not be polite.

Opening the door, he greeted the man with a smile. "Welcome, Krad. Please, come in."

A wood table and two comfy chairs was set out on the balcony for them, the style was a mixture of British than Japanese as the whole place was a reflex of Hakuba's taste and heritage.

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-20 06:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Krad bowed slightly to Hakuba. "It is a pleasure to meet you in person, Hakuba," he said politely before coming in, taking a look around the room.

And paused. He opened his mouth to make something, but then stopped and shut it again. No, perhaps he shouldn't right now, he decided. It was just simply eerie to see a room so much like Satoshi-sama's. He knew that was an odd thing, however. Satoshi-sama deliberately didn't want to make attachments, to be cold, so even his room was. The books were only a necessity. That's how his whole room was, necessity for what he had to do.

But it might be rude to make comment on how the room was right off the bat. Not to mention when he saw the table, it did imply at least some guests were here sometimes to have too. "You like to mix the cultures? British and Japanese?" Krad asked, noting the two styles together.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-20 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yes, I can't help me being a mix myself." He noticed how Krad stopped himself, but if the man really didn't wanted to tell him it was probably better not to ask. Hakuba also noticed how Krad did seem, was slightly taller than him.

"Please, that way." He led him into the outside. "I was born in Japan, but raised in england because my mother is from London. I spend half of my life traveling and the other half wondering about were I belong."

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-20 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
"So the difference between the two cultures is still that noticeable?" Krad asked, taking a seat in one of the chairs. "I haven't been out of Japan for quite a while."

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-20 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
"It is in more than a few aspects." The boy replied but didn't sit down. "That's a pity, you should travel around for a bit, that's good for your soul." Hakuba paused for a second, eh was not even sure if art spirit had souls.

"Do you like darjeeling tea? I have ten different more if you don't." Hakuba asked quickly, cover his confusion.

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-20 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
"I am in the process of doing so. I've had a very limited world movie for quite some time," Krad commented. After all, there were no hosts for two generations and Satoshi=sama rarely traveled far from Dark's work.

"I am fine with whatever tea you think is best. As I've said, I have never tried it before properly brewed."

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-20 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
"Darjeeling is then." Hakuba said, smiling again. This time it was more sincere. The detective disappeared on the kitchen and returned after some minutes with a plate on his hands.

"And now that you can travel, where do you want to go?" The plate was left on the table and a tea cup left in front of Krad as he took a seat.

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-20 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
"I have magic that allows for easy transportation, both on and off world," Krad said, picking up the tea cup carefully. He did know the beverage was supposed to be hot. "Mostly wherever I decide to go. Starting with places I have been able to go to before to see how they have changed," he said, taking a testing sip of the tea. "...this is quite good."

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-20 11:57 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's one of my favourites." Come the reply, small talk was always good to start. "I wish I could do that on my own, traveling I mean, but I'm not complaining about my worldhopping car. Best thing no one ever game me."

Hakuba sip his tea carefully. "How old are you?"

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
"Going to other worlds is certainly more travel than most people," Krad commented, smiling just a bit in amusement. "Many travelers would be jealous."

He paused, looking distant. How old was he? "I don't know. What year is it?"

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
"I certainly will." The last comment made him frown slightly. "It's 2009 in my world..but it's not the same in others. You can't remember when you was born?"

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
"I can remember roughly when I was born. It's been some centuries since I could say when exactly," Krad commented, taking another sip of tea, but watching Hakuba's reaction intently.

How much did this little detective know, really?

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Centuries?" Hakuba's eyebrows went up. He already knew that Dark was like..600, 800 years old, and he supposed that Krad was the same age because Daisuke told him how they were born from the same painting.. but a bit of acting never hurt anybody.

To be sincere, he was impressed of the age when he discovered, and he was still surprised now. "No wonder you want to see how much countries changed."

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 01:26 am (UTC)(link)
Krad raised an eyebrow. "Are you in shock, or are you just used to those being older than they would logically be?" He asked curiously, still watching his reactions.

"My masters have been in Japan a long while. Some must have changed immensely."

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
"Well..." Hakuba grinned sheepishly. "I might or might now had some encounter with gods..so..the second option." That was true at least. "You don't need to stay with your master anymore then? That was what you mean when you told me about freedom, don't you?"

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
"So you simply did not expect me to be that old," Krad commented. Though he wasn't quite so sure. Something seemed off.

After all, Krad dealt with a rather good actor constantly.

"Precisely. While I do care deeply for Satoshi-sama, the bond we had was a bit too confining," he replied, looking off the balcony.

Though, not that he would admit it, it did feel...lonely, not having another person inside his mind.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
"You look young..." The boy sipped some more of his tea, it was getting cold faster. He studied Krad too, freedom seemed to be something important for him.

"A relationship like that can't be healthy. " Hakuba wasn't sure who he pitied now, Krad or Satoshi. "You should pick a date for your birthday, or the date you was set free, an celebrate it."

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
"I always thought those beings considered 'immortal' or long living appeared to be young more often than not," Krad commented. At least it was so in art.

"There was no problem with the relationship until we hit a point where we could not agree. Then things became...difficult," Krad said, a frown forming on his face. Niwa. That Niwa boy who tried to steal his Satoshi-sama. Of course, he planned to deal with that. After all, Satoshi-sama was still his, even if they were not of the same body.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
"True, that's why I never trust looks." That was said matter of fact, all his trust in that belief.

"I know a lot about difficult relations. There's some persons I can't stand, but at the same time I can't really get myself separate from them." Hakuba pursed his nose, thinking about her mother and Rufus. "It's annoying."

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
"It may not always be the best choice to trust them, no," Krad agreed. After all, Dark and he were truly monsters, but they looked like handsome young men. Such an ironic thing.

"Ah, yes, that I can understand. That is the relationship I have with Dark, in a sort," Krad commented, taking another sip of his tea. "Though Satoshi-sama isn't an annoyance. He's merely been confused by a pest."

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
He paused, resting the cup of tea he'd been drinking on the table, the breeze brushing past his face and mussing the hair in the front of his face. He took a deep breath, enjoying the silence before letting it out again, trying to relax.

"What do you feel for him?"

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
"For Satoshi-sama?" Krad asked, a possessive smile forming on his face. His body was relaxed, but the look while seemingly calm at first glance, had a bit more obsessive look upon closer inspection. "He is my everything."

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
That was a very vague reply if he ever heard one. The grin and the body language wasn't though.

"Why that? Aren't you free now?" The boy commented, never tearing his eyes away from the blue icy eyes.

Krad's eyes are gold.

[identity profile] heisthelight.livejournal.com 2009-06-22 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
"Being free merely means one of the three big disagreements Satoshi-sama and I share is no longer a problem. Now it's merely the question of the best way to deal with Dark, and that pest," Krad answered calmly, taking another sip of his tea. "Satoshi-sama is my everything because he is what is precious to me. He is mine, the bond no longer confining me to him does not change that," he said in a casual tone, his body language and expression still showing his possessiveness of Satoshi when he spoke of him.
