Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
Aha. I knew it. I'd be collecting money right now, except nobody would bet on you not hiding in here.
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
I've got things in hand, Zack. Go enjoy the party.
[Hiding? Tseng? Of course not. He's just holding down the fort so the other Turks can enjoy themselves.]
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
[Zack's smile is just a touch uncertain. He knows that his memories of all the other times he's dragged Tseng out to socialize aren't shared by the other Turk, and so he's not entirely certain of his welcome.]
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
What's wrong with me spending the night in here?
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
It's boring, you'll turn into a mushroom, it's boring, you're too work-obsessed as it is, and it's boring.
[He grins and leans against the wall, arms crossed over his chest.]
Anyway, you can patch the alarms into your PHS, and anything you might see on the monitors you'll see just as well by being there, and you'll be that much closer on hand to deal with any issues that crop up. So there.
[At least he's been through this many times before - and Tseng doesn't have the natural immunity built up through repetition that Zack remembers him having.]
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
It's not boring.
[Though he did have a point about being close by... hmm. He chews on that other point, trying to come up with a counter-argument]
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
Besides, do you really want me out there having fun without my p- without you acting as a restraining influence?
[He smiles winningly, though it is tempered slightly by his almost slip.]
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
Are you saying you'll help Tyki Marquise destroy everything if I don't come with you?

You should take a break. I'm sure the President could use your company.

Doubtful. And you aren't one to talk, Lazard. [He gestures to the monitors] You came straight here, didn't you?

Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
[Gimping into the security room after a brilliant escape from the gorilla nurse in his recovery room he knew that he would find Tseng here.]
[Pokes the other Turk in the back with his cane]
You’re so damned predictable Tseng.
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
Sit down, Reno. Or I'll send you back to the hospital. Are you even allowed out?
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
Probably not.
[Sets the whiskey and his cane aside before rolling Tseng’s chair right close to his own and pulling the other Turk’s feet into his lap.]
But if I have to spend one more minute with the gorilla nurse--by the way thanks, she’s such a charming woman--I would go insane and wreak bitter destruction across Gaia.
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
[Significant tone:] Well, so long as you don't exert yourself while you're out of the hospital, I'm sure you'll be fine.
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
[When it seems like Tseng’s feet aren’t going anywhere he pulls the other’s shoes and socks off quickly, not waiting for an argument. Taking the other Turk’s foot in hand he rubs it idly, his way of thanking Tseng for watching over him without actually saying it.]
[Nonchalntly looks at the screen as if everything is quite normal.]
Anything interesting…oooh…has the Prez pulled his gun yet?
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
[It's an effort not to groan and close his eyes as Reno starts to massage his feet] N-nothing of real note so far...
Re: THE SECURITY ROOM
Ah…really…I was kind of hoping someone would get a few caps fired in their direction…it would be a change of pace anyway [Reno’s hands creep up Tseng’s pants along the backs of his calves and back to his feet.] Want a drink?
