[Voice/Failed private call to Ianto and Jack.-Backdated to yersterday]
Ey, this is Hakuba. Where are you two?
The weevil that was left in autopsy yesterday is just bones now. No flesh, no organs..I don't know how it happened it was a normal corpse 15 minutes ago. As normal as a dead alien's corpse can be anyway.
I think that something come through the Rift, the computers gone crazy and Myfanwy is in hysterics. Remember me who had the great idea of keep a Pteranodon as a pet? Nevermind.
I don't know what is it yet, I just saw a shadow. I'm locking the Hub to be sure it won't get away.

"Hakuba!" he calls out. "Hakuba, we made it!"

"Ianto," Jack said in disbelief, "now is really not the time to be making coffee."
Ianto rolled his eyes, shining his flashlight around to make sure they were safe before crouching in front of the refrigerator and grabbing out the meat that he had waiting for Myfanwy in there. She'd probably forgive him for using it. "We can try and distract it with this!" Ianto called, clutching the package to his chest and hurrying over with Jack to where Hakuba was stationed.
"Any sign of it yet?" Jack asked, putting a hand on Hakuba's shoulder.
Re: [action]
"Nothing yet but who knows for sure. There's so many places where they can be hiding."
[action]
Ianto nodded, turning to Hakuba. "What do you think? We were discussing it on the way up--it sounds like this is our best option. The only other one would be calling for help from the Doctor, but who knows whether he'll be able to get here in time, and then there'd still be the matter of the Vashta Nerada being on Earth in the Hub no less."
Re: [action]
"I think I can built a container similar to that one Jack has with..uhm..that hand." he ended a bit insecure.
[action]
"Uh, Hakuba," Jack called out, standing very still. "You might want to get on that. Like, as fast as possible."
"We know that, Jack what are you getting--..." Ianto trailed off, looking down. "Jack. You have two shadows."
"Yeah, I know. So, like, now would really be good," Jack said, looking up at the two of them, urgency written all over his face. He made no move to get any closer, knowing that he just had moments until the Vashta Nerada singled on him and started their attack.

"Ianto," Jack said firmly, "go help Hakuba. Go find some way to fix this. That's an order." His voice softens. "You know I'll be fine, it's you two that still need to worry about this. Now go."
Jack shut his eyes. He didn't need any more nightmares of the darkness coming to swallow him up, thank you, he'd rather not watch what happened. It was bad enough that he was claustrophobic because of the thousands of years underground, he didn't need to be scared of his own shadow too.
Ianto turned away and deliberately made himself go over to Hakuba, down to the medical bay, away from Jack. Orders were orders, which was the only thing that kept him going down the stairs when the screaming started.
Re: [action]
"Ianto I need to.." He looked around, trying to find a remote control in the middle of the mess that was the table now."..think about a way to close the container without actually doing it manually so we don't go near it and..are you listening to me at all?"
[action]
He shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. We should..." he fished around for something to say. "I'm not sure that our idea will work anymore. I don't think they'll give up on him anytime soon. He's kind of a...all you can eat buffet. I mean, from what the Doctor said, he should be dead by now, but." The screaming continued. Obviously, Jack was very much still alive.
Re: [action]
"Ianto, listen I know it's hard, and he's suffering but we need to try this and we will find a way to get their attention." he squeezed Ianto's shoulders. "I can't do this quickly enough by myself and I need your help. so we can help Jack and help ourselves."
[action]
A horrible light-bulb went on in his head. "...we already have them all gathered in one spot," he said quietly. "They're all already on Jack. What if we...?"

Not like he wanted, but he thought that Ianto doing that to Jack would hurt too much both men, taking in consideration their history together. "Can you find the fire thrower in the meantime?!
[action]
Re: [action]
"Jack?" He told him, quickly. "Jack we don't think that the container won't work because we can't manage to make them to leave you alone. There's no much other option but..." Hakuba doubted. it was painful to say this. "..burn them."
[action]
Ianto flinched at Jack's words, grabbing the flamethrower from where he'd had it stored since he'd last reorganized the armory, stopping a moment to check to see that his gun was loaded. He grabbed the flamethrower and hurried out of the armory, back to Hakuba. "Here," he said, coming up next to Hakuba. "I don't want to drag this out longer than we have to. Do you want to, or should I?"
Re: [action]
((ooc: sorry I thought I already replied this :/))
[action]
Jack, for his part, didn't care a great deal for what they did to him, just so that they stayed safe, got rid of the Vashta Nerada, and stopped this horrible, horrible torture. He tried his best to brace himself, but he was pretty sure that the flames wouldn't hurt any more than what the Vashta Nerada were doing to him now.
((It's fine. You replied now, that's the important thing. I'm sorry that it takes so long to do RL's with me, and yet I insist on doing them all the time... ._.))
Re: [action]
...And it was done, finally. Hakuba won't stop after he was sure that all the creatures were dead and gone, turned into nothingness. It was not easy and he felt like throwing up. He didn't even dare to look at what was left of Jack now. When the sound of the flame-thrower falling to the floor made him jump the boy realized that he was shaking and that he could not make it stop.
[action]
((Not exactly bones, but...he's one crispy critter at the moment. 8X ))
