What’s with teenager those days? I already know that Kid-san had a fangirl club, it’s hard to not notice them when they’re screaming and cheering, but... since when didI the Taskforce have one as well? They’re really annoying and embarrassing.

The more I talk to Heiji, the more I notice the changes in his behavior. Yes, it can be stress, as we established when he told me about his doubts. God knows that any mistake on the Black Ops's case may end in more deaths, but its not only that. It’s the not so innocent comments here and there...
I wonder if anyone else noticed. I wonder if Kudo cares enough to notice at all. He’s always too centered in his small world to notice anything that isn’t Ran or the Black Ops. He's supposed to be his best friend, isn't he?
Talking about Kudo, he was just partially right about the Organization being unusually calm. It’s been some time since they showed up on the Kid’s heist or tried anything, but the base we discovered under the abandoned warehouse is more active than before. The multi-spectrum camera shows a dozen or more people there than six month ago, and I can barely track Snake anymore. He disappears for days now. He’s probably worldhopping again.

I can’t tell the last time I actually had a full eight hours of sleep. I can live on tre hours with no problem, I have plenty of things to keep me busy, like the Moriarty project and Doyle's body, but Alizé and my Dad are going to notice eventually.
During the day, I got to think but when I go to sleep, this shows up...That's what happens. When I go to sleep, all the murders, all the voices who ask for justice haunt me. Sleeping is not as it once was, and probably it’ll never be the same. For me, I can live with that. But I will not let it affect anyone else that I care about.
So the anger I feel I has to contain. It's locked it up so tight my muscles seize.I has to hold it in because all I want to do is find them and break them. Break a part..Break any part of this system...because I feel are so provoked in my heart and my spirit as a human being at people getting hurt...And I can do...nothing.

His father was talking about something or other. He would usually be paying attention, yet there were times when he did get lost in his thoughts, today was one of those days. He was lost in his thoughts looking to Aoko on the other side of the room sleeping in the bed, even if he was as tired as her, Hakuba was fully awake and couldn't sleep at all.
Kenji stopped talking realizing that he wasn’t paying attention. The silence however brought Hakuba back to reality and he was ready to apologize, but his father smiled and stood up. Kenji kissed his bandaged forehead carefully and murmured something about the case. The guards on the door of their room saluted his father as he went out to attend the paperwork as fast as possible.
Hakuba looked at the ceiling, careful not to move his broken arm much, and sighed.
