[Open rl - FEEL FREE TO VISIT] backdated to the 27

His father was talking about something or other. He would usually be paying attention, yet there were times when he did get lost in his thoughts, today was one of those days. He was lost in his thoughts looking to Aoko on the other side of the room sleeping in the bed, even if he was as tired as her, Hakuba was fully awake and couldn't sleep at all.

Kenji stopped talking realizing that he wasn’t paying attention. The silence however brought Hakuba back to reality and he was ready to apologize, but his father smiled and stood up. Kenji kissed his bandaged forehead carefully and murmured something about the case. The guards on the door of their room saluted his father as he went out to attend the paperwork as fast as possible.

Hakuba looked at the ceiling, careful not to move his broken arm much, and sighed.

Tyki nodded. "Yes, he said as much, though Zechs and I were rather offended that he thought we needed him to decide whether or not we could handle the situation. Without information, we cannot judge for ourselves, like adults," he said, with a touch of severity.

He ruffled Hakuba's hair, smiling faintly. "You've earned our regard."

"I understand your frustration, and Doyle already gave me a talk about not letting people know. I share his opinion, I know that you and Zechs are more than capable to take care of the situation, but I also understand Kid's point of view."

Flustered and embarrassed, Hakuba gave him another smile.

Tyki sighed. "I understand Kid's point of view to a degree," he conceded. "But the fact is, here you sit, beaten up and half broken. You could have been killed. There's no law enforcement committee at this point, and even if there were, it likely wouldn't intervene in a matter like this."

He fixed Hakuba with a cold stare. "But I am not a normal person, like you. And my 'family' would not be endangered. I'm not afraid of these people, and I do not feel it makes sense for me to stand by the next time they attack you."

Hakuba He looked down, he didn't know what to say. If she was sure of something it was about the veracity on Tyki's words. He took in consideration Tyki's offer and then wondered how much of a bad person that made him. the persons in that side of the law weren't supposed to think that way, but the black ops were like a disease, spreading pain and infecting everything around them.

Tyki watched Hakuba quietly, then glanced away, a faint, self-deprecating curl to his lips. He remembered the day he had gotten to know this boy in Gaia, how he had challenged his goodness, and found that vein of darkness within him.

Well, now he had found the line that Hakuba wouldn't cross.

He rose to his feet and leaned over Hakuba, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead. "I won't forgive anyone who hurts you," he murmured. "I can't. I'm sorry."

And he turned to go.

"It's ok, I understand..I'm flattered Tyki. Not much people cared that much before." The boy gave him a reassuring smiles. "Thanks for this, Tyki."

Tyki glanced over his shoulder and returned the smile. "Feel better soon, Saguru," he said gently, then vanished back out through his wall.
