[Open rl - FEEL FREE TO VISIT] backdated to the 27

His father was talking about something or other. He would usually be paying attention, yet there were times when he did get lost in his thoughts, today was one of those days. He was lost in his thoughts looking to Aoko on the other side of the room sleeping in the bed, even if he was as tired as her, Hakuba was fully awake and couldn't sleep at all.

Kenji stopped talking realizing that he wasn’t paying attention. The silence however brought Hakuba back to reality and he was ready to apologize, but his father smiled and stood up. Kenji kissed his bandaged forehead carefully and murmured something about the case. The guards on the door of their room saluted his father as he went out to attend the paperwork as fast as possible.

Hakuba looked at the ceiling, careful not to move his broken arm much, and sighed.

Forward dated to after he visits Aoko~?

He didn't necessarily want to visit Hakuba, but at the same time he almost felt like he had a duty too. Particularly since he was still blaming himself for what had happened. The least he could do was apologize, right? Not to mention the only person he could talk to at the moment was Hakuba.

Getting into the room wasn't difficult. He needed to talk to the blond detective as Kid, not Kaito.

Which meant wearing a disguise.

... a nurse's uniform to be more precise.

A very uncomfortable nurse's uniform.

The guards at the front of the door let Kid in without hesitation, and he busied himself with Hakuba's medical chart. "Ah, Hakuba-san, you shouldn't be in here long, the fracture isn't that bad~!" he said in a female voice.

And then, it suddenly dropped an octave as he spoke in his own. "Which means we have time to talk." He glanced over at Aoko to make sure she was asleep, before returning his gaze to Hakuba. "As soon as possible."

[He had sneaked in under the disguise of being his brother from Berlin. Rufus never really believed in visiting hours, and he hated hospitals. The nurse pops her head in to inform Hakuba that "his brother from Germany" is here to see him]

Akako had come to the hospital as soon as Kaito had phoned her and told her that her boyfriend was back, safe and sound. She didn't even bother stopping at the front desk to consult a nurse, either. She immediately rushed to Hakuba's room and demanded (quite forcefully) to be let inside.

The guards obliged.

She entered the room and shut the door behind her, her normally devious expression replaced with one of worry. "Saguru..." his name was soft on her lips as she rushed over to him and kneeled next to his bed. "What happened?"

Zechs really hated hospitals, but he also didn't shy away from the things he detested. He also was feeling, perhaps irrationally, incredibly guilty. After all, hadn't he sworn to find and assist his friend? And then, in the end, he had managed to do exactly nothing.

He was wearing the cold facade of a soldier as he walked up to Hakuba's room. With calm authority, he ordered the policemen standing guard to ask Hakuba if he'd like Zechs Marquise to visit. Considering his commanding presence, they almost complied without question.

When they asked who he was, Zechs claimed he was a cousin. For whatever reason, this appeared to have worked. Yet then again, he had no idea the president of ShinRa tried a similar ruse earlier.

A guard poked his head into Hakuba's room. "There's your cousin, Zechs Marquise, here to visit you?"

Much as she disliked hospitals, Alize had to mention that they were one of the easiest places to get around -- there was always a guarantee that there would be accommodations for wheelchairs. Hakuba's dad had already instructed the hospital that Alize was to be allowed in to see the detective, so it was a simple matter to get up to the room where Hakuba and Aoko were being kept.

The energetic singer was uncharacteristically subdued as she wheeled into the sterile white room. A small part of it was due to the lingering effects of the knockout gas that Kid had hit her with -- she swore she was going to kill the thief next time she saw him -- but the rest was the result of the aftereffects of guilt and fear. She hadn't really been able to do anything to help in the end, and the terror that had gripped her when she'd awoken from the gas, not sure what had happened and who was still alive, wasn't anything she ever wanted to feel again.

It was like she'd told Kid. She'd already lost her family once. She wasn't letting it happen a second time.

"Hey," Alize greeted quietly, as she wheeled up to the bed. "How are you feeling?"

Tyki didn't bother with security or hospitals. He located Hakuba by charming a nurse into telling him which room he was in, then he simply went outside, floated up to the correct floor, and walked in through the wall.

"Saguru," he said with a faint smile that didn't quite reach his eyes, his gold eyes travelling over Hakuba's bandages with a mixture of concern and a cold, terrifying rage. "Well, well, I hope you gave them as badly as you got."

With a world hop from Elphaba, Max, found Hakuba's room and knocked on the door before entering, almost tripping as he did, and grabbed onto the door side, so he wouldn't fall. Stumbling, over to the bed ridden man, Max gave a 'I can explain' face, before pulling a chair and sitting down next to him.

"How are you?" Crossing his legs as he sat.
Max had a few questions he'd like answered.
