Saguru Hakuba (

[Being a kid is nto fun RL-Tyki, Zechs, Rufus...and maybe someone else XD]
Hakuba blinked, looking down at his small hands as they traveled trough the Ark. Perhaps he was hallucinating. He had been pulling several late nights recently and mayhap it was affecting him more than he realized. But no, he was in fact, a six years old kid, wearing now vintage children's clothes from the 19th century thanks to Tyki. he sighed miserably, glad that the other man was there to help him.

Tyki thought Hakuba looked precious in those clothes that he himself had worn when he was young, especially with that pout on his face. He bent and swung Hakuba into his arms, as it seemed he was tiring. "Not much further now," he said. "And I'll have to leave you and go check on Rufus, but then I'll be back, probably with him to keep you company."
He was a little concerned that Hakuba was going to regress mentally as well, as Johnny had done. But so far there were no signs of it.

Hakuba suppressed a yelp when Tyki took him on his arms. He was not used to be that small, even if the other man already did something like that in other occasion when he had his old body and they were worldhopping.
"It's fine with me Tyki. And thanks for all your worries, I'm giving you and Zechs a lot of problems." Hakuba rested his head in Tyki's shoulder, hoping that he didn't mind. he knwo he didn't. The now child detective caressed the small yellow bird that he was holding. Even Watson was younger now. Hakuba grinned. "Rufus too uh? Well I need someone to snark with now that I'm like that."

He was able to walk a lot faster without having to slow down to Hakuba's stubby little legs, so they made better time now, and he soon reached the door.
He let Hakuba down so he could open the door and let him into his apartment on Gaia.

He trusted Hakuba with the secret, but he wasn't going to tell him just like that, either. Not yet, anyway. Perhaps he would tell him later, when he wasn't so obviously fishing.

"Zechs is a good man, and really interesting to talk with. We have some things in common. He found a job on Gaia then?"
Suddenly, Watson flew away form his hands and Hakuba tried to call her but it was useless. She wasn't that much trained now as before the virus. Thanks to god the windows where closed.
"Sorry, I will catch her before she cause more trouble. if you need to go to find Rufus, I'm sure I will be busy for a bit"

He ruffled Hakuba's hair and stepped back towards the doorway. "Feel free to make yourself comfortable. There's food in the fridge as well. I'll be back in a few minutes."
no subject
Hakuba couldn't help but made a content sound when Tyki ruffled his hair, his father usually did that too. He still do, specially when they didn't see each other for long time..
"I will be fine, thanks. You're the one who need to be careful, Rufus is not easy. I'm the charming one of the two, remember." he joked.

He grinned and then waved to Hakuba briefly, then strode towards the doorway, stepping through and disappearing.

Hakuba blinked, but he didn't gave it a second thought. Rufus was always annoyed with someone or something. That was how he coped with his life and what kept him alive, so it was more easy to accept it than trying to fight it. Hakuba stood up over the chair and looked at Watson.
"Come here." He said firmly. Watson chirped and didn't move. Hakuba sighed. That was going to take him some time.

Disabling the security and unlocking the door, however, let him find something which only slightly surprised him. Hakuba, dressed in vintage Victorian-era clothing, looking all of about six years old. And attempting to get a small yellow bird off of a lamp. He asked Tyki to look at the post and see if the boy needed assistance, but it didn't necessarily mean he'd have to come here.
No matter. Zechs liked Hakuba, and even trusted the Detective a good deal, which was a feat for anyone to achieve. Locking the door behind him, he turned to face the child. He was dressed in a dark blue suit, and wore black leather gloves. His idea of a Turk's uniform.
"Good morning, Detective."

“Hello Zechs Marquise, it’s a pleasure to meet you. Ah...I’m sorry for the circumstances, though.”
no subject
He didn't know how much the Detective knew about he and Tyki, but if Hakuba did know about them ... well, Zechs trusted the boy. He told him about Tallgeese and he knew he was a man Tyki respected. That was enough for Zechs, all things considered.
Being quite tall, Zechs crouched before Hakuba so he could shake his hand. "Indeed, Hakuba Saguru. It is a pleasure to meet you at last. You need not apologize for your circumstances, however. I know you cannot help your current state."

Instead, Rufus skillfully had devised a way to push himself off of the chair and land on his knees. The television screen that displayed what was going on outside showed no signs of Hakuba's approach. The child scrambled to the living room where he turned on something random on the TV and found a stepping stool to reach his phone.
... you never know what could happen.

The problem was that, with his actual size, he couldn't reach the bell. He was debating with himself if he must just knock at the door until Rufus heard him, but he doubted that the president would apreciate his door being slammed.

He waited impatiently, feeling like he might as well just go in, but Hakuba had seemed like he wanted to be polite.

He reached out and twisted the knob, letting them into the apartment. "Rufus!" he called. "We're back!"
no subject
"Coming!"
no subject
"Really threatening, Rufus. You're going to stab people's knees?" he said as salutation. Watson chirped in his hands.
no subject
"Did you think we were robbers coming to kidnap you, and politely knocking?" he asked, stepping into the room and ruffling Rufus' hair as he walked past.
You can bet that if Rufus chose to retaliate by stabbing him in the knees, it would pass right through him.
no subject
A little petty, but Rufus was not feeling up to par to talking to someone older than him. And one that he couldn't punch in the knees to add to that. Instead Rufus pulled Hakuba and Tyki in the room with all his weight and closed the door.
"Don't insult that method. Once, when I was around this age I was abducted and the only way I survived was that I had stabbed the man in the knees all the way to the hilt."
no subject
Watson flew from Hakuba's hands to his shoulder, she was acting a bit more respectful and cautious now that other people was around. Hakuba couldn't help himself, he come closer to Rufus and pinched his cheeks.
"Cute."

He sat down in a chair and lit up a cigarette. "So I think this calls for a game," he said. "What do children play in your time?"
no subject
"I played chess with my father." He said, finally.
